    Put the Brakes on Fatalities Day     is an event that was intitated by several organiziations to raise awareness to help lower the nearly 118 fatalities that occur each day in our nation.    These fatalities are loved ones who are dying tragically in accidents that are mostly preventable.   

    The efforts of the organization address  the need for improvements to our roadways, our vehicles and basic driver behavior.

    Get involved by promoting the reduction of fatalities by utilizing information found at http://www.brakesonfatalities.org/index.html 

    Please mark October 10, 2008 on your calendar     "Put the Brakes on Fatalities Day." Tell your co-workers, family members and friends to do the same.
