How long does a personal injury claim take to process?

 

A: There is no standard answer to this question because the time necessary  to handle a claim properly depends upon several factors.  The seriousness of your injuries and the length of medical treament may make an early settlement impossible, or at least not advisable.  Simple, small cases sometimes can be resolved quickly.   Larger, more difficult claims could take years if a jury trial becomes necessary.
